INSTINCT

SCREENPLAY / LEONARD SANFTENSCHNEIDER

Instinct is the script for a feature-length film that questions the lack of control over which decisions actually influence a child's life.

An investigator with the Women's Criminal Investigation Department (WKP) works in her small hometown of Langenberg in the early 1960s. While her boyfriend wants to have children with her and her best friend already has a family, she is still torn between family life and career.
But when several children's bodies are found in the village, her entire previous understanding of a healthy family and the community of her village is turned upside down.
